Close to Guwahati is this zoo, mostly crowded with tourists. Luckily many animals we could see. Morning visit is better.

This one of the biggest man made attraction in city if not Assam. It covers large land mass area in middle of the city and has many animals. It offers at least half day activity for visitors and families. Large section has been allotted to exotic and wild animals such as royal bengal tiger, leopards, deers, elephants and one horned... The rhino was very calm and the hippos were fighting. There are lots of deer and the zoo is very big. Save lots of energy for it.... More

This zoo is much better than others. I think zoo needs more space and funds to take better care of animals. Also there is a cleanliness problem. The environment is silent for the animals. Here we can see many animals like royal Bengal tiger, white tiger, giraffe, dear, few cats and many birds make this zoo a awesome place. Overall the experience of... More

me and my frnds visited this zoo on a day of exam ending. We went there 1 hour before the closing time. We ar late so only see some of the parts. If you want to see this place fully than 1 day is needed. A huge zoo with a natural habitat for the animals. Naturally builded zoo ever
