The drive from Guwahati is 1.25 hours. Wow and through lush green fields and villages. In case you want to visit the park, you get elephant ride or jeep ride. Better to go for elephant ride because they take you nearer to the rhinos. This park us also famous for will buffaloes and a number of migratory birds. BUT if... More

This small sanctuary has gained popularity in recent years, and its main advantage is it's proximity to Guwahati. It is an easy hour's drive from the city which makes it an easy out of town excursion for locals, and if you do not have time to visit Kaziranga. It is limited in area, topography and wildlife. No tigers, leopards or... More

If you are very much on budget and have very less time, (though it is highly recommend to take the jeep safari). just don't take the left turn to the main entrance of the Sanctuary, keep on going straight. Roads are bumpy, but after going for a km or so, you can grab a view of the park from the road... More

Good place for this money. Elephant safari ends by 830AM. Jeep safari available throughout the day except lunch hour. Jeeps (can accommodate 6 adults) cost around INR850 + Toll INR300 + Charges of each individual @INR50. The ride takes about an hour and gives several glimpses of rhinos, baby rhinos and various beautiful birds. Solo travellers can also tag along... More

We did not see even a single wild animal. All we could see is grazing cows and pigs in dirt. At Last we saw few hippos which... More

We went with lots of hope to see rhino. By the time we went elephant safari finished. So we took vehicle safari. Park is full of cows. We spotted a rhino one kilometer away. Nothing else. Bumpy ride will cause a disc prolapse for sure. Not worth it.

Elephant safari is the main attraction here. Washroom amenities need to be improved. It is a small but beautiful wildlife sanctuary and u can spot rhinos for sure.
