This is the best point in Matheran. 3km from the city center, try to reach the point when there is no fog and there is good sunlight. Otherwise you will miss the views. Visited around 12 noon during monsoon season. Got few good pics, but...More

It is a nice place with great views of the valley & waterfalls. There is a nice breeze in evenings and on one side of it is the echo point that is fun for kids

Superb views. Pretty crowded when we were there and as with much of India the rubbish problem detracts. But look past this and you will have a great visit. Personally I preferred the views from Belvedere Point which is also rarely visited and hence feels...More

Breath taking view as you are surrounded by clouds.. its 30 mins away from the main market.. but the walk is worth the location..

Sharing taxis cost 70 per person. If you want to book the full cab, you'll have to pay 350, as they have capacity for 5.

Hi mahesh, It is a Good idea to go Matheran in rainy season by bike.but keep in mind after Matheran entry point no vehicles are allowed as per UNESCO.You can take horse ridding or cart ridding from entry point to Matheran... More
