Beautiful cathedral of the CNI AND SEAT OF ITS BISHOP. Once had Bishop Packenham Walsh as its presbyter. It was destroyed completely over a hundred years ago. Located in the heart of town. Services in English Khasi & Hindi.

We visited Shillong during the Good Friday weekend and were fortunate to land here in the evening just before the procession began. This is one of the most peaceful places that I have ever visited.

It is the oldest church in Shillong. Very clean campus. Wooden structures. It is a spectacle to see the masses coming for the Sunday gathering.
