This neo classical Cathedral is an icon to The virgin Mary and is built from the island quarries. You walk up one of the 2 main streets leading up to the cathedral or if doing a pilgrimage you can crawl up the red carpet. There...More

If you are in Tinos there is no escaping this iconic church which dominates the town both physically and spiritually. The courtyard is a peaceful area to reflect. The inside of the church itself is very small but was not crowded when I visited in...More

Read the story behind this sacred Church. Read between the lines what is the meaning of the ultimate love of the Virgin Mary to her Son.

An outstanding churh very popoular for the orthodoxs visitirs and not only. A beauty stoned square is at the front of the church and many visitirs used to cross the road from the port to the church on their knees!

I came back to Tinos after 19 years. We chose to baptize our son at this church. The temple is still very popular with a lot of visitors all year with a long history!

Beautiful church on a hill in the very center Tinos town. Architecture is really nice plus the surrounding area also makes it worth to climb a bit to get there. Worth a visit!

The first thing you have to do in the island is to visit Panayia Evanyelistria. The morning hours is more crowded.
