Tours of Southwold Lighthouse are organised by Southwold Millennium Foundation under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House

What a pleasant trip. Went with a local group of children and it was a pleasure to tour. No hurry and the talk was informative. From the top the views are glorious.

Visited Southwold coastal town. What a beautiful place. Lighthouse is in land in between house. You can only take a tour of the lighthouse at certain times of the day between 2-3pm. Well worth a look it’s amazibg

Spent the day wondering around Southwold, fish and chips from the little fish and chip shop very nice even served with chunks of lemon! Sat on the beach to eat no big sea gulls only a few polite turns who waited until we had finished....More

Went yesterday with my 7 year old daughter as she's been learning about lighthouses at school. The guide,Tim was knowledgeable about the history of the building and the veiws of the town were great from the top. Only lasted 30mins but saw all we need...More

You can, but there are usually tickets available on the door - however you may not get the time slot you want. Good value tour though :)

According to the website, 1100 - 1300 and 1400 - 1600 on the 24th and 25th August. Closed on 22nd and 23rd. You could phone 01255 245156 to check.
