Walking off the lunch!

After such a brilliant lunch in waterfront we decided to walk it off, such a lovely sunny day, beautiful views and lots of people doing the same, absolutely truly amazing

The beach in Bexhill is a wonderful experience, miles of promenade, that people love to walk, all weathers. Very busy on Christmas Day with families. There are a few cafes along the way, and the de la Warr Pavilion, and the Colonade which are both very attractive works of architecture. The beach is very clean, sand and pebbles, and some... More

I always enjoy my walk along Bexhill beach when the tide is out the rockpools make for some great exploring. The dog loves a great run along the sand and meeting new friends. If you were to start at galley hill and walk towards chosen beach it would take about two hours at my pace and it's nice on a... More

Miles and miles of crunchy shingle, and the smell of the sea and sound of the seagulls make this a very special place.

The big bonus for me is that you can park nearby, for free, there is no council trying to suck the money from your pockets, simply for leaving you car at the side of a public highway.... More

Lovely promenade, free parking, pebble beach with sand when it's low tide. Lovely to walk along, and lots of coffee places along the way. Bikes, dogs and pedestrians share the promenade.

Even on a freezing foggy blustery day this was a great beach to visit. We came to meet relatives and hunt out the dinosaur footprints but the tide was in and we will have to go back for that. The beach seemed quite clean and the sea was beautiful. The kids collected lots of amazing shells. We stopped at a... More
