We visited here having looked on the National Trust website. Wow, what a find. This is a beautifully restored house, with good attentive staff and a lovely cafe. It's bang in the middle of a council estate and you would never drive down the road and expect to see this. A lovely place to visit.

In the middle of a housing estate with no parking but what a place it was spectacular. The first house with no furniture we have really enjoyed because the building is beautiful and enough to look at without dressing - plus a few costumes to try on !! The cafe food looked very good and was lovely and clean sadly... More

We've been going to Eastbury Manor House for many many years and it amazes me every time, I've taken many photos and each time I find something different to capture. If you are able to visit in the daytime they have a tea room there where you can get hot and cold food. I could write loads about this place... More

A wonderful setting and ceremony. The reason was because the local register office was closed that two weeks for refurbishment. Plenty of room for evenyone and the gardens are immaculately kept Throughout the year certain attractions are held and should be looked into. I joined a friend last year to help raise money for charity for a table top .... More

A real manor house in the centre of ordinary houses. If it was not signposted you would miss it. Beautiful décor and atmosphere. Café for a light snack and a cuppa. Nice gardens. Free entry and parking. worth a visit and there are themed days on occasion.

Not what you would expect to find in the middle of a council estate in Barking. Its a lovely old house which is open to the public and you can get married there.

This is a beautiful building, with a minimum of furniture so you can appreciate the structure. We came for one of the special cream teas, sitting in the summer parlour, can't recommend the food too highly, we had a wonderful afternoon, thanks to everyone there.
