This RHS garden has good facilities for disabled as well as families and an excellent car park The gardens are on a variety of levels offering amazing designs and views. The gardens are all very well cared for, and plant labels are helpful. There is a good play area for children. Wear wind proof clothing as the site is exposed.... More

A big site with lots of new projects and extensions in progress including a large new restaurant and vegetable garden. Despite this there is plenty to see and there is usually a full program of summer events planned.

A great event to get children interested in what is around them, through craft and a trail round the gardens. Friendly, welcoming staff and volunteers help to make this event a must during school holidays. Plenty for the children (and adults) to get stuck into. Games and info around the site. We usually stay at least 2 hours and children... More

Very good interactive craft fair, lovely gardens and a couple of restaurants over the back which we didn't think existed. WE joined the RHS so we can re-visit for the different seasons.

Went with my wife for a lunchtime meal. We are members of the RHS so entry to the grounds is free. There is a very nice, (and popular ) restaurant in the middle of the ground which is at the top of a hill in tge centre. It has a fairly limited menu but the food is cooked to order... More

Lovely to get out and about in some fresh air, the walks you can do here really take you along a mini adventure in the gardens, with plenty to see at different times of the years. The special events they hold here are always well run and the shop and cafe is worth a visit.

A very popular destination, but never feels over crowded. The gardens are very well presented with little treasures and hideaways hidden throughout the gardens when you relax and watch the world go by
