More
The Queen's Theatre Hornchurch is a vibrant producing theatre in the London Borough of Havering, serving East London, Essex and beyond since 1953. As a registered charity and the cultural hub of the region, over 200,000 people enjoy the theatre's programme every year, including the best in home-produced theatre, visiting live entertainment and inspiring Learning and Participation projects. Behind the scenes almost all of our sets and costumes are all lovingly created on-site by our highly skilled carpentry workshop, scenic artists and wardrobe department. The Queen's receives regular funding from the London Borough of Havering and is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. This helps us put theatre at the heart of the cultural life of the community we serve.

I always go to 2 or 3 pantos each year to compare, including this theatre. I have to say this was by far the worst one this year with no resemblance to the story at all. The same panto at Grays was how Beauty and...More

Went for our seasonal visit to the pantomime with granddaughters. Great family entertainment with all of the expected panto content. Did not stick religiously to the BATB story but it's a panto so not essential. I thought the quality of performers and singing was better...More

Very disappointed with this production. Barely recognizable as the Beauty and the Beast story. Booked as a birthday present for our 4 year old, but left at the interval as she could not understand what was going on at all and didn’t like it. Even...More

I have been going to the Queens Theatre for years and have enjoyed how warm and friendly it has always been. Unfortunately, I have noticed that it has completely lost it's soul and looks tired and unwelcoming. It was freezing cold in there and many...More

I always take my family to see the panto at Queens Theatre every Christmas but I think after this experience I will definitely spend my money elsewhere next year. This show turned out to be a musical with a few traditional pantomime scenes thrown in....More
