Overview
More
Open all year round, Finkley Down Farm has a massive indoor play barn with different areas for different age ranges. There's lots of outdoor play as well, with pedal go carts, mini ride on tractors, sandpit and trampolines. Throughout the day there are animal handling and feeding activities for children to get involved in. Reptiles and Birds Of Prey have now been added to a Farm-tastic family day out. Pony rides (extra charge) take place at weekends and in school holidays. Events are held during the year with the Easter Extravaganza, Superheroes Weekend, Teddy Bears Picnic, Summer Spectacular. Halloween Half Term and Magical Christmas. Watch out for appearances by children's TV characters such as Peppa Pig and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

We are into our second family season with Finkley and it's still as popular with our tinies as ever. The park seems to have a knack of adding something new to keep everyone interested. It's hard to beat as regular entertainment for small children, rain...More

Ideal place to take young children especially those who have never seen animals up close. There is lots to do apart from seeing and petting the animals.

As a horsewoman myself I love going to farms and admiring the ponies/horses they have. I literally couldn't believe the state of the horses/ponies here. There was one sorry looking cob absolutely filthy and matted! He looked like he hadn't be brushed in months. But...More

Once you have paid entry, the only cost is for the cafe and gift shop and bags of food for the animals can be purchased.

Only static ones set in the ground. If you want tractors try Fishers farm in surrey. They even do tractor rides and the whole venue is far superior and just on another level!
