We are one of the UK's leading museums for British military aviation history. Boasting 40 fixed wing and rotary aircraft on site, we have fascinating exhibits and a wonderful 'Apache Cafe' looking out over the busy Middle Wallop Army Air Corps airfield.

Probably best to go on a weekday when there is more chance of aircraft flying. Nevertheless an interesting museum and well worth a visit. Definitely worth a detour

Dropped in here on way back found the museum very interesting showing the army air core from beginning to modern day have actual aircraft on display very educational and the price of admission is for the year so keep it safe.

Brilliant couple of hours. Plenty of exhibits. Building looks small on outside but it is a tardis. Particularly liked the Scout helicopter where all controls and rotors/ tail rotors working. Interesting history depicting evolution of military flying and how 3 services developed together and also...More

A very nice collection with lots of history. Bit dark inside for aviation photographers but it is doable. Use a bit of imagination.

Only guide dogs I am sorry to say. There is a picnic area where if one of you is not interested you could possibly take a dog on a lead. There is not much shade so a big NO to leaving a dog in your car. Museums and dogs... More
