We are one of the UK's leading museums for British military aviation history.

Boasting 40 fixed wing and rotary aircraft on site, we have fascinating exhibits and a wonderful 'Apache Cafe' looking out over the busy Middle Wallop Army Air Corps airfield.

This is on our doorstep and we use this venue for business meetings, casual breakfasts or lunches and also to wander the museum. The Christmas Carol concert is a must go to - its when Christmas starts for us. Recently we had a quick breakfast but understand the Apache Cafe is about to launch new menus with new staff in... Well as a large family we were welcomed and had a brilliant day. So much to see and unlike other museums you can get up close and personal. A good cafe if you need a pit stop. Great value, pay once and you get an annual pass. Loved it all.

The museum is good with lots to see and do and like others have said, especially if you like aviation history. It's a year's pass on entry so good value for money and the staff at the reception are very welcoming. Unfortunately the Apache cafe is not up to scratch. We waited 20 mins for two jacket potatoes and were... More

There has been a lot of change in personnel at the cafe, which is in a wonderful location, with the best views in...middle wallop. Great for kids and families. I visited there last week, after avoiding it for a while, and it has improved. Th menu has been appropriately reduced for xmas, which will aid service and speed, and the... More

We are local to this cafe and it used to be a great place to visit as you can go in without going into the museum and there is a lovely play area. The last couple of visits have gone downhill, however (and we won't be visiting again). After consistent staff for many of years there appears to have been... More

If your in the area then this is a must to see. Located between Andover and Salisbury it's easy to find as it's located next to the Army Air Corps training school. It has its own car park and a cafe upstairs. You can sit outside on the balcony having a bite to eat whilst watcing the Army guys flying... More

I had a few hours to kill so decided to take a visit one afternoon. Plenty of parking and a friendly lady on reception. I enjoyed the mix of aircraft although it would have been nice to have a few more open cockpits. To step inside the Lynx was great but the perspex screen seperating the cockpit took something away... I have visited this wonderful museum on several occasions and always found it to be well worth the money. This time it has been badly let down by the inefficient restaurant staff. My wife and I often just call at the restaurant for a meal. However to-day when we arrived we were disgusted at the service and the attitude and... More

On entering the Museum we were given a friendly welcome and helpful advice on how to plan our visit. There are some very interesting exhibits and if the indoors becomes too much the café offers food and drink that can be enjoyed on an outside balcony that gives a good view of flying operations on this active Army helicopter base.

Went to the museum and just used the cafe facilities . On our arrival we were met by several table covered in used plates and cutlery and the floor littered with food and looking very dirty. Our food arrived quickly and tasted ok , but the general ambience of the cafe was that of mess. I have made several visits... More

Dear Rachel P, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review about us. We are currently undergoing a change in staff and as such have been slightly understaffed for the last two weeks. We have been working hard to resolve these issues and now have a full complement of staff and our new Catering team are refreshing the... More
