My partner and I visited this garden on a sunny Sunday afternoon in April and had the place all to ourselves. very disapiointed, looked rundown and over grown, lake/pond half empty?,went on a nice summers day when any garden open for the public should look o.k, will not call again

I am sorry you felt disappointed. We manage the garden with a view to working with nature and encourage wildlife. By summer the meadow grass is long and to some may look untidy but is not cut until later in the year to allow the flower seeds to ripen and spread. Moors Meadow Gardens is a magical place that needs to be visited often to fully appreciate its pleasures. A kind of secret valley, full of unusual trees, flowers and shrubs, with a small lake at the bottom of its slopes. It seems cut off from the world and is hugely peaceful.
