We walked the gruffalo trail which was okay but had to pay for packs and when there is a group of you 12 and you have to pay to park the minibus made a cheap day out an expensive one. Unruly older children on the play area spoilt and cut short our time. You also need to rethink your dog... More

Queenswood is a lovely and green space, but revenue for the park is doubtful when it involves capturing butterflies and moths in nets for the inspection of children. This can damage the fine structure of these creature's wings and disable their flight. Whatever happened to viewing wild creatures from a respectful distance?

Queens wood Country Park is a great place to visit, the walks are fantastic and the views stunning. There is also a lovely play area for the children. Cafe could be improved slightly and now you also have to pay for parking, I suppose you don't nothing for free these days.

Not knowing Hereford well, we were taken by our daughter in law with the grandchildren who are 5 and 2 years of age. I am a wheelchair user but found most of it accessible. there is a lovely fenced area for able bodied children to play in, but I found it heart breaking when a young child in a wheelchair... More

Nice wooded walk, gruffallo statues were a hit with our toddler. Parking was a bit on the steep side for a wood. They have a nice play area for older kids but nothing for a toddler. I was a bit cheesed off that after bribing our little girl to walk round with the promise of an ice cream that the... More

Attractive arboureatum. Not too strenuous a walk and free. Small shop for souvenirs. Parking charges reasonable too.

The playground and grounds are lovely. Great Gruffalo trail. Really let down with the unhealthy food choice in the cafe. Nearly everything came with chips that were fried. They also don't accept cards for payment which is abit archaic these days. Shame we here on holiday and would have visited again if the cafe was more accommodating. Menu needs a... More

My fiancé & I stopped here for a picnic en route to Malvern. There is a cafe, shop and toilets on the site, as well as lovely walks & picnic benches. The only problem is that it can be hard to find a parking spot, particularly on a Saturday, as events are often held here. When we visited, there was... More

Queenswood is a beautiful place full of interesting trees and wildlife. There is a cafe serving the usual cafe fare and standard walks around the park. However, the arboretum is outstanding and if you visit at the right time of year, the Autumn Garden - full of Japanese Maples of ever colour - is magnificent. And in the spring, the... More

We have visited this park regularly for 10 years. It is a great place to walk through woodland, visit viewpoints, nature watch, and grab lunch/coffee at the onsite cafe. It is suitable for every age as long as you are relatively mobile - there is a kids play area, lots of benches for taking a break spaced along well trod... More
