There is the canal, the Maumee River (adjacent), Isaac Ludwig Mill, and a canal boat. There is a functioning canal lock. A great place for the whole family. The kids (and adults) will learn a lot. Period costumed docents tell the story of the area....More

Unfortunately the Mill was not open, but the small museum was...but not all that interesting. The hike offers paths on either along the river or canal banks and has an easy grade. It was beautiful in Oct.
I really think they should put this mill&ride ''out there'' more. I am a canal buff&have looked on many sites.never saw this.
