The battery is well worth a visit with. The information is all very interesting in both the old and new battery. The view of the needles is stunning. You can go down a tunnel to a look out point. Not only is this a fascinating attraction but there are some great views and walks as well. Tearoom does some great cakes!!!

The needels can be seen from the veiwpoint at the battery. It gives a good insight into the work that went on here in the past.

We thoroughly enjoyed the walk up and even enjoyed walking further and further when we got right over the top through beautiful fields and cliff edges, what a lovely are of outstanding natural beauty! This is a wonderful place to visit. We contacting the café prior to visiting to use the disabled parking at the entrance to the battery. The views are stunning. Amazing views and interesting historically. Don't forget to visit the NT dog friendly tea rooms. Very 1940's.

This is a fantastic treat at the end of a long walk to the Needles (we walked from Freshwater Bay, past Tennyson and on to the Needles).
