An ever changing array of Curiosities, Oddities. Bespoke, Vintage, Antiquities. Past and Present, Reclaimed and Revamped. Walk past the original copper window front and enter through the slightly wonky door into 'GG's Vintage Tea Room' with the oak beam ceilings, smocking pegs overhead, silent films and old photos and music from a bygone era setting the scene. Come in and let your eyes adjust... Explore the museum of memorabilia, discover the 00 Gauge Hornby that runs over head, browse the curios and taxidermy or sit down relax and read the 1920-80's> newspapers & magazines or take a seat at our Piano and play the day away. 'Goodness Gracious Me'... as my Great Grandmother use to say. Welcome to 'GG's Vintage Tearoom' takeaway or take a pew inside GG's Tearoom or outside through the brickwall to Ivy's Courtyard for some afternoon tea. Immerse yourself in times gone by, bone china tableware & music from a bygone era. GG x

Visited on a miserable day so pleased to stumble across this Aladdin's cave with food and drink. Loved the room and even bought some china. However, bought a cream tea for one for £5.00. Coffee was plentiful but that is where the pleasure ended. The...More

A great little cafe, very quirky, but great cakes. Loads of stuff for sale, from books to crockery and even some items of clothing. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A Lovely independent local shop, great coffee... even better cake! I’ve never seen a shop like it, very interesting, many things to look at, admire and also buy. Friendly staff, nice food and a curious surrounding.

A lovely cosy vintage tea room, beautifully decorated. The staff are very friendly and polite, very quick on orders. Overall a nice place to pop in for lunch, coffee and not to forget the amazing cake they have ! I will be visiting regular.

We arrived and found two young women sat at a table. We thought they were customers as they didn't acknowledge our arrival at all. When they stood up to put on aprons we realised they were staff. It was easily ten minutes before one of...More

Very friendly staff, interesting surroundings, with a 1940's feel about it. The coffee is fantastic and the price really wont break the bank, like commerical high st companies. You can sit inside, out front or in rear yard. Highly recommended.
