It was somewhat 'sleepy' in March and as it was Sunday & snowing when we had a quick look around - but there are plenty of craft and interesting workshops around which have appeared on T.V.

Don't ever leave Margate without finding this bakery. The bread is superb, the best sourdough in the area. It's the buns I like most. Blackberry, Apple and cinnamon, lemon, bath and the biggest hot cross buns. All gorgeous, especially when fresh from the oven. Buy...More

Apart from Dreamland, this is our favourite part of Margate. A wealth of independent businesses makes the area very interesting. We always head for this area every time we visit Margate. All very retro and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
