Great night out

Food service was pitifully slow and beef was not great but loads of veg and crumble was good. 12 races made a good long evening and I even managed to pick 4 winners

Went here last night with a groupon voucher thank god, glad i didnt have to pay full price. The bar is cash only now, a sign that they arent doing very well. The food is chips and cheap pizzas and the fosters is flat and in plastic glasses. Not many people there at all and i felt sorry for the... More

Went here for a night out with friends. Was a good night but for the price not worth it, especially for the quality of the food! I am confident that the food was provided by Iceland - but may even be worse than that standard. Would not recommend any of the main meals. My friend's blackcurrent cheesecake turned up with... If you want to go greyhound racing go somewhere else, i have visited most of the country's greyhound tracks over the years and sitting our is by far the most expensive to enter £9 , outdated stadium facilities poor to say the least absolute rip off price for what they offer.

We initially wanted to eat in the restaurant but on arrival was we asked and it was fully booked so I recommend you book beforehand. We placed lots of bets, which was all good fun. Later we ate downstairs, just burgers and chips, weren't particularly nice but did have sponge and custard after which made up for it. Overall a... More

Cold January night, under cover tho which was good. Plenty of standing room, you need to get there early if you want a seat. Food is really basic but not expensive. You don't go there for a dining experience it's just a fun night. Decor really needs a facelift, seems quite dated. Try and get a deal with your entry... More

Found on groupon a great deal of £14 for two people, inc entry fee, £1 bet and a free drink and meal of either curry and rice or chilli and rice. Great atmosphere and food downstairs looked like very tasty and affordable classic greasy food. Staff all friendly. Very run down and old building with attention to good times rather... More
