Old Holly Farm is a working dairy farm, located just north of Garstang on the main A6. The farm also has a small visitor attraction on site, with an indoor soft Playbarn with café area, traditional stone courtyard Café, Farm Shop and an open farm. Coolcow Ice cream is made on site using the Old Holly farms cows own milk. Visitors are able to watch the cows being milked at 4.30pm daily from the dairy viewing gallery. The farm is open 9am - 5pm, all year round (closing Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 27th December and New Years Day only). Entry to the open farm and car parking is free (exc. With our 3 children and 4 grandchildren. Although the weather was grim and the play area full, the food was fantastic and we were so looked after by the staff, and I'll say it again the food was fantastic for the price, 7 adults and 3 grandchildren ( one out of four only 3 weeks old) less than £100 for... Living within 10 miles of this venue, it's a cracking local day out. A working farm, with opportunity to see real fast action, but equally it's a wonderful experience for younger children. The pigglets, lambs, calf's, kids, chicks and bunnies, are all wonderful for the children to meet and feed, great little on site shop with gifts, but the cafe... More

The venue is free to enter, the children enjoyed the animal contact. The cafe is very good with home cooked food on offer. No Wi-Fi , so we couldn't share our experience with other family and friends , but quite enjoyable hour and a half.

Thanks for taking the time to post your comments, great to hear you enjoyed your visit. We are hoping to introduce wifi, but struggle with the thickness of the walls and getting a strong enough signal through - its on the agenda though. Thanks again and look forward to seeing you all again soon. Kind regards, Alison More

I have been visiting Holly Farm a few times a year since it opened as we caravan near by. The last trip of 2016 left us disappointed. As always the free petting farm and playground is excellent for toddlers. The staff in the cafe came across rude and uninterested. It took some considerable time for us to grab somebody's attention... More

We were very disappointed with this place. There weren't many animals to see, just two sad looking donkeys,a pair of sickly reindeer a couple of goats and some chickens and a pig. In the cafe the cups were dirty ad the cake stale.

Thanks for taking the time to post your review. I'm concerned to read your comments and I would like to apologise for the disappointment your visit has caused you.
