Great little water park to walk around once u get in to the wooded area, lots of paths leading off to take u to other places in the park, could do with some maintenance work broken bridges and the lottery funded garden could do with some weeds pulling out and some attention to flowers to attract the wild life. Part... More

A sunny morning and ideal for a walk so off I drove to Daventry Park and I wasn't wrong. A lovely walk around the reservoir, next time I'll opt for the meadow walk. A little disappointed with the choice of snacks available in the cafeteria; hence the four stars.

Nice walk around the reservoir (about 2.5 miles)- dogs love it. Everyone nods and says hello in the passing.

Fancied something different so decided to come here and only down the road. Wasn't disappointed. Kids enjoyed it, especially the park. Will be visiting again.

Visited in the easter school holidays and was surprised that it was not busier. Parking is £2 all day which is great value. The toilets were spotless and the cafe offered a nice range of drinks, snacks and hot food. My daughter was not interested in walking around the reservior so we spent a couple of hours playing in the... More

Our family of 4 generations headed here for a gentle walk on a foggy December day. The park was nice and quiet, only a few cars in the parking lot but cafe was still open for coffee and bacon butties :-). The best part of this was the out-of-world experience being here on a foggy day. All the following photos... More

We visited here on our way home from the Cotswolds.Parking and there is a small fee of £2 for a full day, which we thought was very reasonable.Continuing into the park there is a bird spotting hut on the right and continuing our walk into Daventry Country Park there is a large lake packed with wildlife....which included Canadian geese,Ducks and Swans... Brilliant place lake with wildlife. Great for families, walking the dogs. Peaceful and quiet in a town setting. Small cafe with seating. Viewing huts available for wildlife viewing. Beware though they charge for parking ...although park across the road in the the small precinct and its free.
