The gardens are so beautifully tended. The tour of the Poison garden was good, I imagine that children would love it. I would have given the gardens a five star rating, but they were let down by the cakes in the cafe. They were all uncovered and therefore dry. Very disappointing as the cafe itself and the staff are lovely

One of the best gardens I've visited. It's more the design than the flowers. It's architecturally interesting in the same way as the great Roman gardens. The Poison Garden tour is very interesting. I never realised there were so many alternatives to divorce. The Grand Cascade is great and the Ornamental Garden is designed in a way that I have... More

If you like water displays, this is the place for you. Lots to see and the gardens are immaculate. Our visit was a little early in the season for most of the flowers but despite this, the Orchard blossom and tulips were lovely. The grounds are much larger than they first appear, as you walk up past the main waterfall... More

The gardens were amazingly designed and the fountain was a thrill to watch. On my vistit I was surprised to find some swings amongst the beautiful blossom trees which added to the experience.

This wasn't a planned visit but so pleased we went. Approx £12pp - we didn't have time to visit the nearby castle so just paid for the gardens. Amazing water features, and great to see children enjoying the effects of water - even playing in little tipper trucks. Beautiful, relaxing gardens to walk around - the effect is relaxing and... We just got back from our trip to the Alnwick gardens and must say it was brill! My hubby recently broke a leg and is currently not allowed to put any weight on that leg at all so is using crutches for short distances and a wheelchair to go further (but not faster!). He contacted the garden and reserved a... More

Amazing gardens and the swings in the blossom garden are amazing - take a book and swing away all day! The Poison Garden was enlightening and the staff were so friendly - even getting me a free scooter as my husband was struggling to push me around in the manual wheelchair (very hilly!)

What a place, great garden's. Blossom is amazing with swings installed around the. Water feature is a sight to see, but wait for all the different sequences of water jets. Ensure you walk all the gardens as there's the Poison Gardens, Rose Garden, Walled Garden. Worth a visit

Very nice afternoon , wanted to see the blossom trees they were lovely and since our last visit they have put lots of tree swings in between, all ages were sat amongst the blossom having a go . The walled garden was bursting into life with a lovely selection of Spring flowers , the fountains were very impressive .

We had a day to visit Alnwick Castle and it's gardens and it was only just enough. The gardens are relatively new, but beautifully designed and perfect for couples and families alike. The Cherry tree orchard is stunning in mid April with all the trees in blossom. Absolutely loved it, will be back next year!
