Really enjoyed our walk on the beach! So did the dog. Makes your heart smile to see him running along the sand and sniffing the sea. :) There were quite a few dogs out enjoying themselves, which was lovely. And families out with kids. It...More

We have only recently discovered St Aiden Beach having just moved to the area. This is a fabulous beach for walkers, dog walker and beach lovers alike. Beautiful sand and slowly sloping walk into the sea (I paddled in October). Will be visiting again with...More

I hope I've picked the right beach to review! The one to the left of the castle, negotiate some dunes to get here. Fact (not interesting to most) - my earliest childhood memory is of walking on this beach holding Granny's hand when I was...More

Easily reached beach below Bamburgh Castle, views unbelievable! No tacky food vans, no advertising boards, just raw nature at its best.

I did not see any evidence of BBQ. I would consult Northumberland Council to get an opinion.

Hi Michael The access to the beach is not good for a wheelchair. There is a boardwalk for part of the way from the green but petters out once you reach the dunes. Hope you enjoy your visit and your son does too.
