The sunny weather made all the difference but the grounds of this National Trust stately home are worth the visit, and the journey to get here, especially the walled garden and river walk. Pleasant cafe with welcoming staff too.

Love this place. Great walks, long and short. The house is beautiful (although we don't spend much time in it). We go for the peace and tranquility. Several play areas for kids of all ages.
