We've visited several times over the years and always seem to forget just how many snowdrops there are. Added to the early arrival of daffodils and just a few bluebells making an adventurous appearance and the day is complete. Hodsock is a unique place where the owners take a very active part in the day to day running and upkeep... More

I was looking for something to get us out of the house and away from thinking about work on a Sunday afternoon and I found snowdrops at Hodstock on the Internet. What a delightful place. Fiver each to get in and free parking. We arrived just in time for a short outdoor talk by "George" (I think) who is one... More

Been meaning to visit the snowdrops every year .had an amazing visit today, sweeps and sweeps of gorgeous snowdrops in a lovely woodland walk, went round the rest of the garden which was just coming into bloom, will be back for the bluebells. Well worth the entrance fee.

After many years of promising ourselves that we would visit Hodsock Priory to see the snowdrops we finally made the effort. And, boy, was it worth the effort! What a beautiful place. We picked the best day of the week for weather. The snowdrops were a picture in the sunshine. The pathways are easy for wheelchair/elderly users and the walks... More

Enjoyable walk through the wood and gardens at Hodsock. Plen ty of snowdrops with so many varieties. Also cyclamen, crocus and the odd daffodil near the lake and house. A fair weather trip. The cafe was adequate, but the sandwiches were limited and they had crusts cut off which made them rather small and what a waste of bread! Good... More

Wow! I've had a fantastic walk around the garden and woodland area of Hodsock Priory- the snowdrops were lovely! The gardens are beautiful on a bleak wintery day so I can't imagine how they will look on a lovely summers day. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly- highly recommended!

A lovely relaxing couple of hours away from the hustle and bustle of life and especially in February when there can be little to do. Snowdrops and other plants spread across vintage style gardens and the location makes you relax as you meander on the finer detail - be it snowdrops/architecture/gardens etc, and of course there is an excellent refreshment...
