Just 20 miles from Nottingham. Our Tree Top Adventure in Robin Hood country features a tree to tree zip wire (one of the only tree top tree zip wires in the country!) We like to think these are the special Go Ape ingredient that makes the outdoor adventure at Sherwood Pines great for unique days out near Nottingham. You can swing through our forest and get the best views over 3000 acres of woodland - A great place to escape and enjoy epic outdoor adventure activities in the forest. And the adventure does not need to stop there. You can get off the beaten track and enjoy our latest forest adventure with Go Ape Forest Segway - an epic segway experience near Nottingham with a down to earth twist. And Sherwood Pines is also home to our Tree Top Junior Adventure for Mini Tarzans. Release your little monkeys onto a Go Ape course designed for them. No one loves adventure more than kids!

Kids as always love this. Great instruction, liked the flexibility to get in with it ourselves too. It was raining but we soon forget this as focus Shifted to staying alive! 5 stages ending in zip lines each time, great support from all around us...More

Brought my boyfriend here to have a go at the tree top adventure. The staff were lovely. Explained things very well. Once my bf did the first part (did I mention his fear of heights?) he was loving it. It lasted about 2 1/2 hours,...More

My friend and I visited Go Ape as it's something we've been wanting to do for the last year. We found it was quite well signposted from our route and there was plenty of parking available. We arrived half an hour before our slot and,...More

We went on spec as I was on a nursery trip with my son. HE was just tall enough to go on accompanied - which meant I had to go on as well to my horror. 😣 It turned out to be an amazing bonding...More

I went here with my friend and we had a fantastic day out here. The forest is huge and makes the climbing through trees in Robin Hood country. Beware though this is not for the weak, it takes a lot of upper body strength and...More

The instructors are really helpful and obviously good at what they do but you do need to be in fairly good condition to do this. Definitely not if you have a fear of heights! It's all very well put together, very safe and a lot...More

This was our first visit and I naively thought that Go Ape was a gentle tree top stroll! Well it was superb the thrill of feeling slightly nervous even though you are harnessed in. We were in a small group of 4 and after general...More

We had a fantastic time at Go Ape. Staff were very helpful. There was a little bit of a bottle neck at some stations which meant we had to wait on the platforms before embarking on the next challenge. But apart from that no problems!

The staff are friendly and informative. There is always someone around if you need to check anything. I'd definitely recommend to wear gloves as I didn't and my hands were really sore. Parking is £6 all day and you can pay via cash (old £1...More

Thanks for the question Charlotte and for thinking of us. Our original Tree Top Adventure at Sherwood Pines normally takes between 2-3 hours to conquer. Our Forest Segway experience and Tree Top Junior adventure is an hour... More
