Interesting NT Site

The barn is fascinating, especially the structure and size. The locality and village are pretty. In addition, there are lovely walks in the vicinity.

This is in surprisingly good condition, and is an interesting relic of the past. There is little else to do here, and nothing on the inside once you have seen the impressive height of the interior. Worth going to if you are in the vicinity, but not worth a long detour to get there. There is free parking on the... More

Easy to find, nice walking routes. It's a big barn but that's it, don't expect to spend more than 5 minutes looking at it.

An exquisite Cistercian barn with impressive timbers. Graffiti a point of interest. An architectural gem.

Not a great deal to see, a large barn with a historic background. Easy to park on the road by the property.

On our way to Buscot Park from Oxford and passed this wee gem, now under Charitable Trust status. Don't miss it if you're interested in architecture and history. No cost to walk through. . This barn is mid-13th C and once belonged to the abbey of Beulieu.

If you're in the area and like walking then I would recommend going via here as part of a tour of the woods and Badbury Hill. There's not much to see, but it's worth seeing if you're passing by, and is very impressive. It's essentially a very old, very big barn which you can have a look inside.

I just love this building- to me it is like an agricultural cathedral. I have taken many friends there now and every one is gripped by the atmosphere of the place. Never get tired of going there.

Fabulous place - really interesting - lots of stuff to look at, including old graffiti. Read the information on site and give them a donation to keep it in good condition. A gem, if you're interested in agricultural and building history. Would fascinate a builder with a knowledge of roofing structures.

Its only a barn, but in excellent condition and one that clearly gives the visitor an insight into these great buildings. There are old etchings and graffiti for the children to discover as there are laminated guide sheets provided - so both old and young can enjoy a visit here. Free, but make a donation if you wish.
