If the two flights of stairs aren't too much then the museum is well worth it. It offers a history of the town, from prehistoric to 20th Century, all nicely displayed and very informative

A rather small museum, but interesting for half an hour walk round, helpful staff, free entrance and a clean toilet!

Spent an enjoyable half hour here, range of things to see. The volunteer who was there was very helpful and friendly worth a visit

Yes it is we have had a number of wheel chair visitors take the lift from the ground floor by reception
