Went with my 3 year old. Plenty to keep him interested. Lots of fantastic exhibits that you can get up close to, informative notices and activities for the younger ones. Food of decent quality. Highly recommend and for me worth the 4 hour round trip.

A wonderful experience & for free! Only pay for parking. My Small children tend to get bored after 1 plane unfortunately. I could spend all day here as so much to see & read. A worth while visit. Food in cafe nice too.

People still laugh when we tell them that " we're off to Wolvo' again" for a holiday; and RAF Cosford is another one of the great places to visit when you stay in this West Midlands metropolis. The exhibits certainly keep the kids occupied; but a special mention for the little lady who sells tickets to ride the 4D at... More

A fantastic day out for all. Excellent presented exhibits. Some of them are unique. The cold war museum is amazing. Open cockpit sessions are great, where you get the opportunity to get into the cockpits of selected aircraft. A learning / education section where children can learn, experiment and discover the science behind flying. Make sure you allow a good... More

The RAF museum covers a huge range of aircraft and air warfare in general. It isn't even limited to RAF aircraft but also has examples from other air forces. There are fearsome examples of missiles, and plenty of context and "hands-on" learning for all ages, so it should make a good day out for a family with children keen on... More

Whether you have an interest or not one iota of interest in aircraft this is a great place to visit. So much to see and so much to do including a very realistic flight simulator. The Cold War Museum tells the story in easy-to-understand info boards. It's a great half or full day out for all the family from small... More
