We had our work outing to this great venue, had a three course meal at the Kingwell restaurant which was superb. Highly recommended!

We arrived at Wincanton on a cold crispy morning leaving our over night bags at the hotel. We decided to walk the 20 minutes to the course which was quit hilly but invigorating. We had booked a meal and was very pleased as the out buildings were very cold. The whole day was extrememly enjoyable a lot of punters but... More

Been there on Boxing Day with family. Really had great time cheering and betting on our favourite horses and jockeys. Nice selection of food stalls and good overall organisation.

We went to Boxing Day Races for the first time for several years. The overall experience was good but the building was cold. We bought a sample pack of betting slips for £10 each didn't understand them because they turned out to be different courses and were accumulators which meant they were all written off. We enjoyed the basic betting... More

Visited Boxing Day with our family ranging from 7 years old to 72 years young. We booked the Boxing Day package in the Paddock Pavilion. Food was sausages, bubble and squeak and veg, which for mass catering was served hot and tasty. We had 1 member who is gluten free, not a problem, they were served a pork loin steak, again very... Easy to find. Well sign posted. Not too expensive to get in. Plenty of food stalls and drink. Toilets were nice and clean. Was great fun a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Plenty of bookies to place your bets...A fantastic day and I won some money too!! 😀

My main issue with this place is how long you have to queue at the bar on race days, why is someone not constantly pouring pints like they do at busy events / festivals, plus every time we come here, one or two bars always sells out of something, the beer tent had practically nothing left after about 2pm There... Visited here yesterday for the first time in more than 20 years! There are good areas for disabled viewing and unusually for racecourses there are several disabled toilets. In the viewing area near the finish line there is even an area undercover should the weather be atrocious! Yesterday that area was needed to get some shade from the sun. It... More

The two totally compliment each other. Fining dining, fine horse racing. Holbrook House is just down the road, not far at all. And when you return relax in one of the splendid home from home guest rooms and try to sample the Fine Dining Menu
