Enjoyed the festival at The Foxlowe yesterday - would have given five stars but for the fact that instead of a plate my sandwich was served up on a dirty old lump of wood.

A really good visit as always. The craft exhibition upstairs is always interesting. The café is friendly and has a great atmosphere. The drinks are nice - just need to make sure coffee is piping hot.

Visit to watch a tribute band last Thursday. The room was cold and smelled musty. Not a great range of drinks to choose from.

I like everything about the Foxlowe, from their superb sandwiches and cakes to the excellent coffee. It's a bit offbeat and very relaxing.
