If you need a map make sure you use it; not only on the day but, beforehand; plan ahead. Do some research of the area you wish to cover on-line;... More

This is a great area for walking. The countryside is fantastic and the views are great. The tearooms nearby are excellent as well.

Was taken to the Roaches by a local and started with a cup of tea in the café! Then off for a stiff walk to the top of the nearest peak and as it was a beautiful day the views were terrific. Well worth a walk if you are that way!

We are so lucky to live near the Roaches. It's is a stunning place for walking and climbing. Great for kids who like scrambling over rocks. Magnificent views. And free!!!

We used post code ST13 8TY - keep going past the roaches tea room until you get to the main gate next to the bus stop. We followed the footpath (smaller path that forks immediately on your left as you go through the gate) all the way up to the trig point- was a relatively easy path/route to follow. Found... More

Some fantastic views and great for a lovely day to walk. Even if the weather is not brilliant, it is still lovely to roam.

Lovely area of the Peak District on the Buxton Road north of Leek. Great views over the countryside. Easy to medium walks. Minimum car parking.

This in an iconic area of the South West - Peak District National Park. Looked after by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, has some lovely walks, and fabulous views.
