Set in 26 acres of landscaped gardens, Birdworld is one of the largest bird parks in the UK. In addition to birds from around the world, Birdworld also has an aquarium, Underwater World and the Jenny Wren farm featuring creatures great and small.During a visit there are lots of daily events including penguin feeding, animal encounters and the amazing Outdoor Flying Display (Easter- End October). Not to be missed is Penguin Beach, a fantastic walk through exhibit featuring a colony of African Penguins and new aviaries include’ Wings of Love’ the Lovebird aviary and ‘Outback Landing’ a walk through Budgie feeding exhibit.Birdworld has numerous catering outlets but also plenty of space for picnics and with two well-stocked gift shops you will find everything you need for a great day out.

Really enjoyed our day at Birdworld. Loads of different birds, with lots of interesting information about each. We even saw some baby flamingos. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely visit to Birdworld with my grandson.Entrance price reasonable and no further expense.interesting exhibits.Birds looked healthy and aviaries were clean and well kept.There was plenty to entertain younger children...farm,train,climbing frames ,clown,animal feeding.Snacks in cafe very cheap.

Took the Grandchildren again - Their choice, and they had a great day out. There is lots to do and see and you need a good day to get round it all. Good knowledgeable staff on the displays made it very interesting.

Yes you can buy tickets at the 'Link Entrance' which is accessible from Forest Lodge Garden Centre. Be aware however that this entrance is subject to seasonal opening so it maybe worth checking by phone prior to your visit... More
