Very expensive way to see caged birds. The petting area is the best part for small children, however the adjacent playground is not really big enough for all to participate, especially when a group comes along.

Myself and my mum wanted an enjoyable afternoon out to get some fresh air, but at the same time not having to spend too much money! I opted on Birdworld as we haven't been in years. We went in the first week of November, and because it's off peak season we got a slightly cheaper admission price - the restaurant... More

I came here with my 2 year old Grandson and was unsure what to expect. We had the most delightful day. The park was not too busy so we were easily able to see everything without being jostled, and were able to just take our time wandering around. We were here for about 5 hours but could easily have stayed... More

Visited bird world with Tesco reward vouchers and expected to have a great experience as the reviews for bird world had been really positive. Most of the enclosures were dirty and not well kept at all. The shrubs were over grown and there was moss hanging around the cages too. Really disappointed and just could not feel connected to bird... More

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We were of course most disappointed to hear that you 'could not feel connected to Birdworld' although it was good to hear that you still spent 5 hours on your visit. We do however politely disagree with the fact that our enclosures are dirty which would imply that we do not... More

We visited here on the last weekend in October. Not too busy, easy to find and plenty of parking available. I hadn't been here since I was a child and had fond memories, so wanted to bring my kids here. Thankfully they loved it , particularly the live bird show which is a must, and the animal interactions where they... More

Visited with my husband and two children 3.6yrs and 8 yrs old and we all loved it. So many varieties of birds to see big and small ( love birds to Flamingos) , penguins, the bug garden and Jenny Wren farm ( Rabbits, chickens, pigs, reindeer, baby chicks, mice and chipmunks to name a few ). Four brilliant play parks... More

Took my 18 months old daughter there today and we really enjoyed. It's very peaceful and organised. Just think that more interactive parts could be added throughout the day but very good in general.

We were in luck, it was a fine sunny day. It wasn't the first time we'd visited Birdworld and it won't be the last either. A truly wonderful place to take the grandchildren, not only is it hypa educational they enjoy it so much they don't even notice how much theyve learnt. Always a bonus huh. Okay the souvenir shop...
