My wife and I have visited the Wetlands previously but it was so peaceful just to wander around on a sunny autumn afternoon looking at the various species of birds, some of which pass by your feet. Took the opportunity to feed the Hawaiin Geese with seed provided by one of the staff. We had lunch in the café, food... More

Great day out, enjoyed by toddler with lots to see and do, all very well tended to and well presented. Parking is easy, and plenty of spots for picnics alternatively the cafe is really nice.

My husband and I visited on the 23rd October. It was just great - so much to see and do. The staff are informative and attentive, from the shop/ticketing staff to the lovely ladies working in the cafe, who cannot do enough for you. We arrived just as the cafe was opening and it was no trouble at all to... More

A lovely day out I've visited here many times in my life. With friends and family, I enjoy feeding the birds, seeing the flamingos and walking around the wetlands. The price does seem to have hiked up in the past few years but still a good local activity.

We decided to visit the centre after a quick look on TA; we weren't disappointed! The facilities were great; the cafe was well presented and had quick service, the grounds were buggy-suitable and even the small kids indoor play area was good. There is a lot to see and do, and even if you're not much of a bird-lover (I'm... More

Hi - thanks for your review. I'm so pleased the kids enjoyed it but it's a shame you didn't think there was much to see or do. I hope you managed to get to our hides - Hawthorn Hide is bustling at the minute with lots of lovely woodland birds which is always a treat to watch. We have Top... More

Lived near this all my life but never been. Booked tickets online and got 10% off. Arrived at 11 am and left at around 2pm. It took this long to walk around and see all the different areas. Well worth the money and will be back.

We're locals, so have taken out membership. This enables us to drop in at any time for a walk in pleasant surroundings. The park is divided into two sections, the first contains the collection of birds of various species, but kept in a reasonably natural environment. This is the place where the kids can feed the ducks etc. There is... More

Absolutely wonderful. Lots of nice trails and lots to see (diverse variety of ducks, swans, birds etc. and asian otters). There is a cafe onsite which is pretty decent and has a terrace area overlooking the wetland. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and colleagues.
