Always visit the cowshed when in Stratford. The food as always is amazing and presented very well. Felt very safe eating here.

Visited today since my children were attending a workshop at The Chocolate Shed. I had an hour to kill so visited the Cowshed cafe and enjoyed a hot chocolate. Also visited the farm shop and bought local honey. Bought some chocolate form Henley's chocolate shop. There are a few antique stores and a garden furniture place with some very interesting furniture. Parking available.

popped in with a friend as first choice up road was closed. not a warm welcome at all, poor cake selection, scone had been ‘nuked’ in microwave and had a very strange taste, young girl was friendly and doing a good job, paid by card which didn’t go through was made to feel like a criminal! even though at that point we hadn’t been served browsed round shops, Farm shop was good staff friendly, liked quirky furniture shop, may be back but definitely not to cafe

Never been before so popped in to see what was on offer. There’s a large garden furniture store, a well stocked antique/collectibles area, a shop selling popular clothing lines like Weird Fish etc, and a nice card/stationery/gift shop. There’s also a good shop selling organic eggs, local honey, wonderful bread and other temptations, open 7 days a week. Mi didn’t try the on site cafe. I’ll be back in a couple of months or do, it’s a place to return to. Well worth a visit.
