We are officially obsessed. Not sure if we’re ever going to leave. Land lady kindly fed and watered us (read: wined) for a lovely cosy Sunday. Atmosphere was as full bodied as the Malbec that accompanied us. The pub feels like a warm hug that is good for the soul.

My wife and I was driving back home on Wednesday 6th and having stopped in Henley-in-Arden for a drink we popped into The Tree Tuns which was a nice old fashioned pub (lovely log fire) with friendly staff and our dog welcome. We had half of lager/glass of Merlot and a beef roll and cheese and onion roll came to about £10.00.…

Stopped here and was relieved to find a pub as it should be: a place where people gather to drink a beer and talk to others. Unspolied and distant from the gastro pubs that so often you come across. I liked it. Well done.
