Hartshill Hayes is a lovely place for a stroll through woodland. There is also a good view from the hill over open countryside where you can sit on the benches and relax. There is also a goodwill equipped park for the children to play.

We just discovered this today on here and we’ve been for a nice long walk. Once you go deeper into the woods it’s nice and quiet, you lose any concept at time and you’re at peace with nature. I can imagine it would nice to...More

I am sorry that you were caught out by our toilet closing time - the times are displayed on site. This is not uncommon now across other parks in other Counties due to problems. If you need to use the disabled toilet, this is on...More

This parkland is a beautiful place to walk. My dad used to take my kids there and now I realise why it was so popular - I can't believe I have not been before

when you first walk on to the top of the hill you can see for miles and when you walk round the areas are well signposted also its fantastic for sleighing in the winter snow.

This walk is well signposted and is in a beautiful setting. Some parts may be a bit steep and awkward for those with mobility problems. There is a cafe and a good playground for children..

Lovely park with or without a dog to walk nice to have a picnic and the children just love it so much for them to explore. It's a shame there isn't more dog waste bins! Some great views to be seen can be quite photographic.

We wouldn't recommend it! As its a dog walkers paradise, there could be those who don't pick up after their pets, and also potential for broken glass etc.,

The site is a woodland and can be quite steep in places, paths are not tarmaced. Would depend really on age and ability of child, and level of competence. If you want something a little more level and surfaced, then either... More
