Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery sits in the attractive surroundings of Riversley Park. The museum has permanent galleries displaying local history, the life of George Eliot and a fine art collection. Enjoy our activity sheets, fun interactives and take part in our family friendly activities. We also have three galleries showing a range of temporary exhibitions during the course of the year. In addition our Events programme includes Saturday Events days, storytelling and lunchtime talks.

Lovely little museum in the grounds of riversley Park in the heart of Nuneaton. Plenty of local history there is also art gallery and tea rooms.

Every time I have visited it has been a cute, relaxing little adventure, that leaves you feeling like you have had a break from the town

it is well worth a walk around the wonderful gardens to appreciate the beauty and just how much effort has gone in, to make this a special tranquil place- well done to all those involved

Basic cake and coffee experience but nice to have some outdoor space and breaks up trip to museum nicely. Decent prices but opening hours and staffing levels need to be improved.

Really enjoyed the museum with lots of diversity of exhibitions. More interesting than l thought it would be. Plus a lovely tea shop for lunch too!

I found the museum and art gallery very interesting. A good way to spend time and it is very close to the town centre. A little gem in Nuneaton.

Great visit, something to keep youngsters interested in each room. Discovered many interesting facts, Children...or us adults....didn't have time to get bored!! Lovely day out!! Highly recommended.

I visited today with my son and his friend and was pleasantly surprised. There were lots of opportunities for children to engage with the exhibits through the resources provided. We enjoyed taking a rubbing of a fossil; playing a george elliot board game, drawing pictures...More

Only ever visited this museum once before many years ago. Greeted by very friendly staff who explained what and where the exhibits were. On the ground floor was a large exhibit about george Eliot with lots of her original possessions. There was also an art...More
