stayed over for a short break . Good facilities for water sports snd children's play area
Shop very limited but there are plenty of local shops and good restaurants.
Pitches very close together which would be my main complaint .
Crazy golf ok but basic
Toilet block a bit like a school changing room with the associated smell
Could do with some landscaping too as a bit bleak in parts where the new chalets are in lines

Finnish person was dead right its a joke just money making scheme. No charge to enter but after that charge like a raging bull. Plenty of free open swimming in UK and welcome our Fin friends to join us and they are right statistics speak for themselves we are an obese people.

We have just returned from a weekend at Bosworth water park. There is currently some construction work and uneven ground on the entrance drive. Have to say the reviews don’t match our experience. The showers were slightly dated but clean however we had read reviews and paid extra for our own family bathroom which was spotlessly clean on arrival and had ample hot water. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. We spent an enjoyable day fishing on the lake and there were plenty of families with young children using the beach area. Pitches were large and there was plenty of room for younger children to run around. Would definitely return

Water park now closed to public. This will be a private holiday lodge park so no more BBQs and water sports which is shame as many a sunny day spent here with the family.

Stayed 1 night on the campsite and first impressions were ok - for £28 you expect facilities to match. Forget it! Site was unkept gravel not large enough to park our vehicle and totally waterlogged. Yes it had rained a lot, but there appeared there was poor if any drainage. The local duck population were dabbling and swimming on the pitch!!
Next morning a trip to ‘the facilities! Mistake! No cleaning for weeks I would imagine - sinks filthy with fag butts! Chose not to wash the breakfast dishes for fear of disease! Toilets and showers a germ breeding ground again uncleaned! Well yes at least the water was warm in the shower, hence 1 star, but truly a disaster area with Sandy mud everywhere. Save your money and park in a field - it would be healthier! £28? No way!

The actual lake is very small - you can walk round it in much less than half an hour. If it was on my doorstep I’d be delighted, but I drove nearly 30 miles to get there and won’t be doing so again.
Clean toilets, can’t comment on the cafe, hugely expensive parking at £3 an hour (even a pedestrian is meant to pay £2 entry, heaven knows how they police that). There were some very sweet tame ducks and the dragon pedaloes raised a smile.

Cabin was unclean, food on floors and sofa, cups in kitchen had lip stick marks and tea/coffee stains, apparently cleaned to high standard due to covid. The top of the bin was filthy, tried to hoover to find that didn't pick anything up either. Over priced been to other cabins year in and out half the price with sauna and spa bath in your own cabin and decided to have a change and I was in tears with such disappointment and disgust and regret would of left but nowhere else to stay as we don't have a car and couldn't get picked up so stuck here over the weekend, the cabin is attached to another cabin only separated by a door to which u can just go between the cabins, got woke up 6am by noise and banging around from other cabin your right at the main reception no privacy from anyone coming and going.

Visited for the first time last week with my dog just for quiet relaxation time by the lake. Didn't use any of the facilities other than toilets which were fine. This is a lovely place for a visit however I was completely put off ever visiting again because of the exorbitant car park charges - £3 per hour?!!!!!!!!!! Really?? Why when other similar parks like Kingsbury charge a flat fee of £4.50 for the day! I had read online somewhere before going it was £1.50 and was prepared to pay £5-6 for a 3-4 hour visit but really it cost £12 for 3.5 hours!! Won't be going again.

Facilities are very run down and not well maintained although camping pitches were neat and tidy. Camping toilets were disgusting. Asked reception to refill hand wash on Thursday- eventually it was replaced on Sunday. Toilets not flushing and people leaving them in a terrible state along with the showers. People leaving rubbish along lakeside. Noisy at night for camping - children running round with torches well beyond 12am.

Camped for 3 nights and loved it. Was very impressed with the shower/toilet and sink all in one as it was like your own private bathroom and it was really warm! Kids loved the park and sand pit and lake. The staff are so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a great family camping trip!

Does anyone know due to the lockdown if the beach is opened and are the toilet facilities opened?

You can pay for parking with card. I would have some cash, as somethings are cash.

As we have a 4 year old that can get sick very easily but he loves water..

It's filthy so I wouldn't let your 4 year old in it if he is prone to sickness.

Hi, I’m thinking about coming here for a day trip. I would like to know is it free to enter and how much is parking. Also do they do food and drinks there. Thank you all for your help

Hi, yes they do food and drinks hot, cold and alcohol. Hot and cold rolls. Best call them regarding parking as I have a pass as part of my annual subscription. (I think it is quite expensive). If you are cycling personally I would recommend you save time and miles by going to Bradgate Park with great cycling tracks and paths and cafes at stratigic locations.
