Today we spent a lovely time at Nymans & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had a very informative & interesting buggy ride around the garden & Tony the driver was so friendly and knowledgeable he really brought the garden alive for us. He knew so much about the history of the house & gardens & even stopped for us to take... More

Nymans was bought by the Messel family and transformed into a very special exclusive country house till a fire destroyed a lot of it which is now a ruin. This doesn't spoil one's enjoyment as the damaged part has been preserved like an art installation, some of the house was undamaged and still has charm and the garden is delightfully... More

Nymans gardens is a lovely place to visit. Lots of variety. An interesting house. They have very interesting art exhibitions often based on the gardens or the history of the place. Also great woodland walks which can be enjoyed by people who are not national trust members.

I visited Nymans with my wife and two year old after driving past it for the past 5 months. The gardens are lovely and I can't believe I had never visited before! On a cold February afternoon the gardens were looking very wintery - I would love to return and see the gardens change over the seasons.

my husband and I recently joined the national trust and wanted to go somewhere for a walk on a lovely winters day. we weren't disappointed, staff were lovely and helpful and there were a number of walks for us to choose from. the rewarding hot chocolates at the end of the walk were delicious too!

Nyman's is a local treasure. Great to visit in every season. Mobility mini bus tours are a much appreciated feature. Wish they would change their coffee though!

We've been to Nymans on many occasions this last year and seen it through all the seasons. Personally my favourite is spring but it has something to offer any time of the year. There gardens themselves are always well tended and set out nicely and always offer something good to look at. It has a large lawn in the middle... More

Visited late April whilst weather was still quite cool so the garden was yet to bloom. It is a lovely location with much to offer but as a short stay international visitor without a Pass, extremely expensive for a day entry ticket. We had local friends showing us around so bit the bullet in regard to the ticket cost but... More

We have just been gifted National Trust membership so we went to have a look at Nymans today as we were going past. Absolutely beautiful grounds and interesting history on the house. Can't wait to go again. Was a little confusing whether we had to show our cards. We just walked straight through which we are not sure if was... More
