This is a lovely, peaceful and wonderful place. We have been three times in the last fortnight and cannot wait to return even though we live some distance away. We are both over 70 but find the paths well maintained and all areas readily accessible. It is worth walking the half mile or so to reach the well positioned hides... More

Excellent dry pathways, viewing platforms and advice available from RSPB volunteers. Even a small cafe to finish with some light refreshment and open views.

Nice barn attached, which is open to non members for food too. Good crispy bacon rolls, daily lunch specials, generous portions, all home made. Friendly staff and a good view of the bird reserve and the feeders near the windows. Lovely outdoor seating for decent weather.

I really enjoyed my visit to RSPB Pulborough and the short walk I had. Very peaceful and quiet. Lots of birdlife to be seen and hides to be visited. There is a cafe there, I found the coffee to be of good quality and reasonably priced. I would return for another visit in a different season.

I have visited Pulborough Brooks many times, to either walk around the reserve or join an event in the evening. Very knowledgeable guides when on an event ( We went on a bat walk one evening) which lived up to our expectations with an interesting start looking at different moths, then a walk around the heathland to listen to the... Thank you so much for your lovely feedback - it's great to know that you regularly enjoy your visits to Pulborough Brooks. I particularly enjoy the night-time safaris and we'll be starting them again in April this year (beginning with the nightingales and then moving on to moths, bats and nightjars). I hope we'll see you again soon. Thanks again... More

Have been here many times but more often than not simply to meet up with a friend for a coffee. There is lots of outside seating which is great for warmer days with fantastic views over the countryside. The inside seating is not huge and the queues get quite long when groups are in visiting the Wildfowl centre. There are... More

It's nice to hear that you are one of our 'regulars' and enjoy the views from the café even if you don't make it out onto the nature trails for a walk! I agree that the queues in the café can get rather long, especially if groups arrive en masse, and we're trying to think of ways we can make... More

Fab place to wander around, lots of birds and deer. A fair few ups and downs but the main route is good under foot but a little bumpy in places. Lots of bird hides overlooking the floods and scrapes. When we visited it was well frozen but still counted nearly 30 different types of birds. Good cafe with a good... More

Thank you for your comments and I'm glad you found lots of wildlife to enjoy on your visit. The ice has defrosted now but there's more water about on the wetlands following a week of rain. All of the ducks seem to be enjoying themselves! I'm pleased to hear that you liked our café too. As a conservation charity we... More
