Many people overlook Govetts Leap at Blackheath, but it is a stunning lookout, where you can park for free right up to the lookout. So, its great for less able or children. The views look north into the Grose Valley, and are break taking. You can see the waterfall to the right. There is a short walk you can do... More

Blue is filled with terrific hikes. This one has an advantage for those who like civilization with their wilderness, because you could either drive up to the top, where there is a little children's park complete with restrooms, or reach it from the wilder side. Or, like myself, combine the options and use the park as a midwalk break. The... More

The Three Sisters Information Centre recommended this spot and so do I. Stunning view and the name refers to the waterfall. There isn't much more than a lookout, but I thoroughly recommend the diversion.

You will be spoilt for choice in walks and views in the Blue Mountains and there are always good access points such as Govetts Leap which was just up the road from our accommodation at Bower Cottage.

Was trying to decide whether to leave this review or not as we didn't actually make it to the falls but I thought I would tell our experience. We got the train to black Heath, we wanted to avoid expensive hop on hop off buses and the lady at the information point at echo falls told us it was walkable... More

We also visited other lookouts in the Blue Mountain, and I enjoyed this more than other Places because it was such a quiet and good atmosphere and an awesome view. Not too many other People there when we visited on a weekday morning.

The view at Govetts Leap is truly wonderful. Any trip to the Blue Mountains that does not stop here is incomplete so don't miss it! The lookout is the most easily accessed viewpoint in the entire region so there is no excuse for not stopping. A short drive away is Evans Lookout which is just about equally stunning so do... More

What a great View! One of the better look outs in the blue mountains. Super easy access and toilets and picnic tables close by as well. Worth the visit!

A nice waterfall in blue mountain and it is easy to find. The lookout is reachable by car. The landscape is beautiful. Beside, you can watch another by taking a 30min walk.
