Went with my wife because a friend recommended this hike. I found it grueling and very unsafe in spots. The hike started at 11 AM and ended at 4:30 p.m. Probably hiked a total on 2 hrs, the rest we spent listening to the guide talk about the ancestors of the indigenous peoples in this area. His talks were stories... More

I did this tour the day of my birthday and was the best gift I could ever make to myself. The tour is a perfect combination between a visit to the Blue Mountains and the discovery of the Aboriginal cultural and tradition. It was a transformative day :)

If you want to learn about aboriginal culture but also yourself, this is the trip you want to go on. Evan makes you experience the nature like you've never experienced it before and leads you through the magical world of aboriginal spirituality. We we're left engaged, enlightened and inspired after the tour. Definitely one of the highlights on our trip... More

I had the pleasure of meeting Evan and participating in the walkabout while visiting Australia to arrange a study abroad program for American students. It was a warm, but beautiful day to walkabout. Evan shared very keen insights into the Aborignal culture and many fascinating facts. I especially appreciated the detail in which he answered members of the groups' questions... More

I booked this tour having read Evan's website, and seen the walk described as '3.5 km (2 miles) medium grade & gradient bushwalking (mild adventure)'. OK, I am not the fittest of people, and not experienced in rock climbing, but I wish I had been both. The day consisted of 6 hours of scrambling down rocky slopes and (at the... More

Yesterday we were guided through the bush in Darug Land near Faulconbridge Station in The Blue Mountains by a fascinating man named Evan. From the get-go, he honoured us by opening our minds to the history and practices of Aboriginal people, their Dreamtime and why the connection to land is of the utmost importance. Evan was polite, encouraging and extremely... More

I did this tour about 7 years ago when I was a child and still to this day I rate it one of the best experiences I've had. My sister and I booked a holiday in the blue mountains and I couldn't wait to take her on it. When we got to the meeting place, most people had cancelled as... More

I am writing in regards to the last few negative comments which couldn't be further from the truth in regards to the tour guides professionalism. I am a inbound marketer and have been a tour guide/operator in the industry for 15 years. Over a decade ago I met Evan and I have had a pilgrimage on walkabout at least 7... More

These tours are so inspiring that I've been on them twice. On both occasions, Evan Yannamuru was professional, organised and obviously well-versed in Aboriginal lore and knowledge. Each site Evan took us to had an energy that was felt by myself and the rest of our group. This should not just be a tour done by overseas tourists. All Australians... More

We booked a tour with him but as the reviews mention, the guide does not seem to be 100% . While the things he talks about are interesting, however somehow vage and very judgemental. Bad communicator and akward conversations. Not a waste if time but would not recommend.
