If you enjoy learning about how goods were produced in the past a visit to this Mill at 2pm is well worth while. A thorough explanation and demonstration is given of this old but still operational mill. The guide seemed to have a genuine passion for mill history and this added flare to his presentation. Unfortunately most good on sale... More

On a cold wet day on the busy New England highway, we decided to follow the tourist trail to Nundle and visit the wool mill. To our delight it was a unique glimpse into the machinery of the industrial revolution. It was fascinating to witness the machines operating and a real treasure to see wool still being carded and spun... More

Make sure you visit this place when in Nundle. It is fascinating. So much history, amazing to see the machinery in action & upsetting to hear that if the remaining two washing facilities close down then this mill will have to close as well. Come on Aussies, support this business before ALL our wool goes overseas to be processed.

We arrived in time at 2 pm Friday afternoon to have a tour of the factory & information/ demonstration of the machines & processes. Very interesting. The production of lovely wools into balls for knitting. High... More
