It was a great place to spend a few hours. They have some interesting old trains and carriages that you can look through, and some other related railway equipment. You can look through the most of the building to see how things use to be.

This is a must do while you are here in Tenterfield. Plenty to see and a credit to the volunteers who keep the museum in top condition. Very nostalgic.

You don't need to be a train buff to enjoy this museum. Yesteryear rolling stock and exhibits in a large colonial train station building. $7.50 pp admittance fee which helps the volunteers maintain the exhibition. Definitely worth spending an hour and a few dollars here.

Really good for history and conveniently located right next to the historic cemetery (if you enjoy reading history on gravestones)
