Breathtaking view with a bit of a difficult hike
Went on a saturday 4-5pm. View was already amazing before hiking. Walked/climbed all the way to the falls area (walking down is slippery and coming up was a killer) but the view was so worth it. Managed to catch a rainbow at the falls as well. Camped that the midpoint lookout for the sunset. It was quiet with few people. Will definitely come back after training my body and to do the stargazing

Nice stop off highway with outstanding views
Drove from Sydney and stopped at this area, 5 minutes off the highway. You park and walk 1 minute to jamison lookout-wonderful vista. If you continue, there are various trails or another lookout - wentworth falls where you can see part of the waterfalls. Very beautiful and easy walk.

    Nice walk
Family one day trip and this was our second stop. Nice walk and views. Various distant walks and we chose the Fletchers lookout walk. 40 min return walk plus stop off time. But of a climb back up but great family trek.

Went worth falls is fed by a stream which was dammed to form Wentworth Lake in order to supply steam engines with water on the way up to Katoomba. Hence the supply to the falls is regulated by the lake level and so it is rare that the falls are raging. But its a nice view other than the falls, although not as majestic as Sublime Point..

We did the 1 hour return trip with our young kids and gosh was it worth it. The pay off at the end of the hour was a lovely view of the baby falls where the kids could walk around the water and feel the rocks whilst being safe. The main falls are about a 4 hour (round trip) journey which our kids just couldn't manage but it would be a great goal to tackle one day. The track to the baby falls was very graded, well signed and not too challenging - don't have to be fit to give it a go. Parking is at a premium there - might take a while to find a spot but its worth the wait.

The walk to Wentworth Falls Lookout isn't difficult so it is suitable for everyone.
It was a pity that the weather wasn't that good on our visit. It was foggy with a lot of clouds. We cannot see the falls and the view of the valley clearly. It must be more impressive to go on a sunny day.
There were quite a lot of parking places.
We went in late December so there were no restaurants opening. Perhaps it is better to pack food before heading to the walk.

This was a superb weekend visit and one that truly rewarded the intrepid. We really enjoyed the walk on a fine Sunday last month, and found that we could take superb photos once we got to the view lookout. It was sunny and the temperatures rose from cool to warm so it was ideal weather for a hike.

Wonderful scenery. The noise of the falls, the birds and the smells of the bush are just fantastic.
The area is well signed and walks are clearly marked for direction, time and difficulty. A very well run park system

We decided to do this walk whilst staying in the Blue Mountains. The path was a bit muddy and wet and very steep in parts, and not for the faint hearted, but we were rewarded with stunning views of the mountains and the waterfall below. They say it takes an hour to go to the bottom and back but as the conditions weren’t brilliant, it took us an hour and 20 minutes but we did stop to take photos. A highlight for us and a very memorable experience. Would recommend doing this on a dry day with good visibility as the views and scenery are incredible.

Excellent for all levels of walking hiking. The walk to the top of the falls is beautiful but it is a longer/ steeper way down to the bottom. You’ll be blown away by the striking views and beautiful natural shots.

Having driven past on several score occasions, I finally thought to have a look at the Falls! After doing so, I couldn't work out why I waited so long? An easy & short drive in off the Highway with a pretty full car park leads to a short stroll to the lookout. There are several view points or an approx 1 hour walk to the falls or longer more involved walks. You choose your pain or pleasure! Limited picnic shelters but clean facilities available. A great spot on a nice day.

This is a lovely spot and not an overly strenuous walk. We took the round trip via the undercliff trail to the falls lookout and then back up via weeping rock. The falls are lovely. We had a sunny day with a rainbow in the falls spray. The undercliff track was fascinating. It is a bit rough in parts as it is being redone but doable for any able bodied walker. The trip back up from the falls to the road has 2 forks and one goes via weeping rock which is a little patch of paradise.

Weeping Rock in Wentworth Falls is a small waterfall formed by Jamison Creek cascading over a rock overhang.

I was there when it was raining and the volume of the waterfall is mind blowing. Usually you’re able to walk through the stairs next to the waterfall!

📍 Weeping Rock
Via walking track from Wentworth Falls Picnic area
⏰ 1.6KM Return, 1 hour
🏔Easy to moderate
⚠️ Be careful when treading on the rocks, it’s slippery (this is a no-brainer)
