First off I would like to say Barnbougle lost farm is a fantastic Set up! The golf course is great with a good variety of holes and some excellent scenery. I have played some high profile golf courses over the years and the one thing they always get right is the welcome to the course! The first welcome I got... More

Lucky to play this course recently on a sunny morning with little breeze. It was in great condition, with wide generous fairways and huge greens. Very short par 3's - played off the back. Preferred the Dunes.

Flew in for lunch, unfortunately the office had slipped up on the time to send the shuttle bus for us. Once in the restaurant were seated at back of room until realised we did have a booking. The window seating was superb. Meal was lovely, staff attentive and very helpful for one who has food intolerances. A little let down... More

Visited Lost Farm and Barnbougle Golf Courses in February 2017, wow what a magnificent setting for two courses. Enjoyed the breath taking scenery from the Lost Farm restruant ceiling to floor windows, amazing. I know my partner and family are very keen to play, tours leaving Moorabbin Airport also can include King Island course.

The course is great. A challenging layout, but forgiving in places. With the wind present, it rewards good shotmaking. However my visit was slightly soured slightly in the pro shop. A staff member there, I believe to be by the name of Rosco, made me feel uncomfortable to be there. He was rude, ignorant, moody, and gave me the sense... More

Eight of us flew from Melbourne on a golf trip. Played Lost Farm in the afternoon. It was a bit windy, which made playing the course more difficult. It is a tough course and mishits are punished. None of us rated the course very highly and wouldn't bother playing it again. If you want a cart, book well in advance... More

This course is much wider and open than Barnbougle Dunes and therefor easier to play. It is right on the ocean and you have some beautiful views.

Stunning course with some exceptional holes, the extra par 3s are fantastic. Course looks open but the rough is unplayable unless you are exceptionally fortunate, greens twist and turn and we're really quick (it was really warm and dry). And when the wind picks up it's hard work making some fairways off the tees. Course staff were excellent, definitely recommended.

While travelling around Tasmania recently with friends, the husbands decided that it was a must that they play 18 holes here. After dropping them at the pro shop my girlfriend and I asked reception where was the best place to get a coffee. The lovely girl at reception directed us to the restaurant at the Lost Farm. We were greeted... More
