We did the lighthouse on the way back after doing the wineglass bay cruise (10am-2pm), then the wineglass lookout walk (1hr). The drive is only 10 minutes off the main road out of freycinet. The lighthouse doesn't offer much however there is a nice 20 minute boardwalk which gives you views back into Wineglass bay (just!!) but more impressively out... More

Easy walk to the viewing platforms and to the lighthouse. So glad we decided to do this walk. The views are just breathtaking!

We wanted an easy walk for a change and this is definitely worth a visit. It is relatively level and there is a boardwalk for the ocean side segment of the walk

Most of the walk is a boardwalk and very easy to complete. Views from the whole walk are amazing and we saw whales breaching whilst there. Note there are no toilets here-one would have to use amenities at Honeymoon bay down the road.

Certainly worth a drive across the peninsula. Easy walk from the car park & keep going after the lighthouse to complete the circuit. One lookout even has binoculars which actually work & have not been vandalised.

I am of limited physical capability due to achilles problems so this was was doable for me. It provided breath taking views of freycinet peninsular and distant views of wineglass bay. It costs $24 for a single(24hr) day pass to get in and it is well worth it. Keep your pass as if you wish to go up to the... More

We did this walk as there was some sun and no wind. It's a very easy walk that takes you around to see some cliff edges with some fantastic views. From the car park the trail is surfaced and anyone can walk it and I think it's wheelchair friendly.

The view from the board walk surrounding the unmanned lighthouse on a clear day is stunning. The ocean is so dark and powerful and the ruggedness of the Freycinet area is amazing. Get there early though before the mobs appear - they really spoil the beauty of this place.

Well worth the small trip as you walk around the lighthouse along extremely well made pathway, which is accessible for wheel chairs. Get a great view of wineglass bay and the coast. Small side trip to lighthouse if you wont but as you can not enter not sure it is needed.
