Interesting collection of buildings including barns and a church which formed part of the Brickendon estate which had convict workers. Across the road and up a drive is the house and gardens. Both are included in the admission. As it's near Launceston airport this is...More

How lucky was I that good friends opted to get married here rather than in Brisbane their hometown. Even better that I stayed in 1 of the adorable little cottages to take in the full wonder of the Estate. Such a charming place to visit,...More

The tour of the gardens around this majestic house were beautiful. The house has been looked after by descendents of the original inhabitants. Unfortunately it is not ooen for viewings as it is currently inhabited.

We attended a wedding reception at Brickendon, and have to say it was the most beautiful venue. The buildings and surrounds were lovely and the free ranging animals certainly kept our daughter enthralled.

A very warm welcome from one of the owners who gave us a comprehensive history of the family estate. The farm buildings were very interesting and the garden at the main homestead were truly beautiful.
