Myself and my partner spent 6 days with Craig exploring the northern part of Tasmania, and I have to admit it was one of the most impressive vacations we've ever had. To begin with, Craig is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide with a real passion for his job, his land and the wildlife. Secondly, the organization of the tour... More

We were picked up at our lodging in Launceton mid-morning by Ben Williams for what turned out to be the highlight of our stay in Tasmania. We drove to the Ben Lomond area for what turned out to be some terrific mountain side viewing. We next headed to what could be considered a private forest. We walked around the area... More

We spent a couple days with our guide, Bushy's son, Ben. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the terrain, foliage and especially the wildlife. We saw platypus, quoll, a Tasmanian Devil, wallabies, kookaburra, and many other species. Ben took us from Tasmania's only ski resort to a couple of little, rustic cabins deep in the bush, where Ben fixed us gourmet... More

We had a one day tour, picking up from our accommodation at lunchtime, lasting about 8 hours. Craig was a very helpful and knowledgeable guide, as well as great company. We started with looking (successfully) for platypus, then drove to the Ben Lomond national park for great views over the area - all accompanied by lots of local information about... More

The two and a half days my wife and I spent with Bushie were some of the most memorable days of my life. We were honeymooning in Australia for two weeks. We spent a week in Tassie. My travel agent had recommended the Quoll Patrol experience for us based on our love of the outdoors. We experienced the great Australian... More

We were honored to spend 8+ hours with "Brushy" who is a true expert. It did make a long day with us getting back near midnight (partly our fault as we had to push back our start by 2 hours). He first took us to Ben Lomond (a spitting image of Scotland) - only 40 km from Launceston but on... More

I did two days! Craig and Janine Williams are superior home-gorwn Tassies with heart and a vast knowledge of the trees, birds, animals, sights, wines, and scenic hikes. It's a joy being in Craig's presence. As we drove he constantly pointed out trees, explained the history of the landscape, the culture, as well as sighted animals and stopped so we... More
